Re Perez
I came out in the early 1990s in New York City at nineteen. Honestly, I never saw myself living past 30. There were no role models of gay men living vibrant, thriving lives past 50. Now at 53, I feel like I could live another 40 years.
For the last 24 years, I've lived at the intersection of two worlds. In one, I'm a brand strategist with a Fortune 500 background who has spent 14 years running Branding for the People. I wrote the bestseller Your Brand Should Be Gay (Even If You're Not) and created the Category of One podcast.
In the other world, I've invested those same years inside the most powerful personal development communities on the planet. Landmark. Tony Robbins. High caliber mastermind retreats. I've hosted transformational retreats, created the Spiritual Capitalism Mastermind, and built a reputation as a superconnector who is masterful at curating rooms and experiences.
I loved both worlds. And in both worlds, I was almost always the only gay man in the room.
